- 1. Technical drafter
Job description: A technical drafter uses Computer Aided Design and Drafting to prepare technical drawings and plans which are used by production workers to manufacture custom tanks and pressure vessels. Creating the plans provides detailed, visual guidelines and instructions for others to follow when fabricating products. A drafter bases the technical blueprints on information, such as notes, sketches, calculations, or dimensions provided to them. The drafter must also work with company Enterprise Resource Planning and Document Management systems on a day to day basis.
Educational Requirements:
- AS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Required skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience
- Versed in AutoCAD
- A Custom manufacturing/metal fabrication background
Desired skills:
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure VesselCode, Section VIII Division 1 is a plus
- Enterprise Resource Planning and Document Management software experience
- AWS credentials or certifications are a plus

- 2. Sales representative
Job description:CB Mills is looking for a motivated sales representative for tanks and pressure vessels. The position will require a good technical/mechanical background and a strong work ethic. The position will entail the preparation of client estimates and writing detailed proposals and the ability to address key decision makers at various customer sites. The sales representative will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements, providing estimates based on these requirements and according to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII Division 1, the UL-142 standard, the API-650 standard and providing design information to engineering staff.
Educational Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, or equivalent experience
Required skills:
- 5-7 years sales experience in industrial markets
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII Division 1
- UL-142 experience
- API 650 experience
- Enterprise Resource Planning software experience
Desired skills:
- A Custom manufacturing/metal fabrication background is a plus
